Thanks! Plain and Simple presents the

West Virginia Rosie the Riveter Project

We are building this site to introduce you to West Virginia's Rosies and to provide a way for you to participate in the project. Here is some of what we will be covering here. Don't miss the NEWS!

What is a Rosie?

While most eligible men served overseas in the Armed Forces during World War II, the country’s war effort depended upon having enough equipment, whether planes or bullets. The circumstances sent many women to serve on the home front, taking training to learn factory jobs formerly held by soldiers.
These women are now in their 80's and 90's and we want you to hear their stories.

Thanks! Plain and Simple, a West Virginia non-profit organization that helps unify West Virginians around men and women with post military experiences that can be beneficial at home, is finding our West Virginia Rosies and capturing their stories in text, photo, audio and video.
